MLS GW Variances due to Tropospheric Deep Convection
During June-August MLS GW variances show strong wave activities over the tropospheric deep convection zones in the subtropics of the northern hemisphere. Following Figure shows the major wave activities at northern Africa, south Asia, and central America.
